Weston to Host Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Recycling Drop-Off Event

Pack up your old computer, monitor, TV and any outdated household chemicals such as pesticides, paint and more, and head for a convenient drop-off event on Sunday, May 18, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Public Works Complex, located at 2599 S. Post Road, Weston.

This free Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Recycling drop-off event, hosted by Weston, is open to residents of the following cities that have participation agreements with Broward County: Cooper City, Dania Beach, Deerfield Beach, Hollywood, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Lauderdale Lakes, Margate, Parkland, Pembroke Park, Sea Ranch Lakes, Unincorporated Broward, West Park, Weston and Wilton Manors.

Proof of residency, such as a photo ID with current address showing residency in one of the cities named above and one of the following: a utility bill, a vehicle registration or a trim notice/tax bill, is required. The addresses must match.

Residents of participating cities may also drop-off household hazardous waste and electronics every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the following Residential Drop-Off Centers:

  •     Pompano Beach, 2780 N. Powerline Road (north of Copans Road)
  •     Davie, 5490 Reese Road (off Davie Road)
  •     West Park, 5601 W. Hallandale Beach Blvd. (east of U.S. 441)
