BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Nancy J. Cotterman Center (NJCC), Broward’s only certified 24/7 rape crisis and accredited children's advocacy center, is stepping-up its "We Believe You!" outreach campaign to emphasize the Center's longstanding approach of unconditionally believing and supporting victims of sexual assault and child abuse. The launch coincides with the national observance of April as Sexual Assault Awareness and Child Abuse Prevention Month.
To further strengthen the security perimeter around Miami International Airport, the Miami-Dade Aviation Department (MDAD) will permanently re-direct unauthorized traffic at the airport’s Perimeter Road entrance and exit to alternate routes beginning Tuesday, April 3, at 10 a.m.

Miami-Dade County Community Action and Human Services Department (CAHSD) is accepting applications for the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP). The WAP is designed to assist Miami-Dade County homeowners with improving home air quality, at no cost to the homeowner. Services also help reduce home energy costs. Required measures include the replacement and/or installation of three major components: Energy Recovery Ventilators, bathroom exhaust fans and kitchen exhaust fans. These improvements help create a healthier home environment.
