MIAMI – For those planning on traveling this summer, getting a U.S. passport just got easier. The Miami-Dade Public Library System has opened its second U.S. Passport Application Acceptance Facility at the North Dade Regional Library, 2455 N.W.183 Street in Miami Gardens.  It joins the South Dade Regional Library, which began offering passport services in 2015, as an official U.S. Passport Application Acceptance Facility for the U.S. Department of State.

Miami - Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Medical Campus will host a free food distribution event at 11 a.m., Monday, July 2. The event is presented by Community of Interest in partnership with Student Life. It will showcase student support services and “kickoff” the campus’ onsite food pantry. There will be activites, music, prepared food and non-perishable items to give away to store for hurricane season and other emergencies.
