The City of Miramar in South Florida is sponsoring the second annual South Florida Multicultural Games featuring Jamaica’s University of Technology at 3 p.m. April 29 at the Ansin Sports Complex, 10801 Miramar Blvd.

The games will offer a track and field meet that features athletes from the Caribbean.

The annual Jamaica Charity Gala will be held April 19 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Miami, Florida.

The event, presented by The American Friends of Jamaica, Inc. and the Jamaica Committee, will honor business executive and philanthropist Thalia Lyn and track and field coach Glen Mills.
