FYI

Broward County's Mosquito Control Section will spray for mosquitoes in the southwest part of Broward County on Friday, weather permitting, from 4 to 6:30 a.m. This area will include the cities of Southwest Ranches and parts of Pembroke Pines and the Town of Davie.

The area to be sprayed includes Griffin Road to the north, Johnson Street to the south, Interstate 75 to the east and U.S. Highway 27 to the west. Residents with breathing difficulties should remain indoors. Persons living in the affected area who have registered with the state to be alerted to spraying have been notified.

Several cities in Broward County are under a boil water advisory after potable well 24 in the South Regional Wellfield of Broward County tested positive for E-coli.

Cities included in the advisory are Dania Beach, Hallandale Beach, Hollywood and Broward County Water and Wastewater Services customers in parts of Dania Beach, Hollywood, Miramar, West Park, Pembroke Park and Pembroke Pines. This also includes the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Florida Power and Light.
