Reggae singer, Gramps and his brother Peetah Morgan are still on a musical high after completing a very successful, solo tour of Europe that saw them delivering spectacular performances in Zurich, Switzerland; Poland; Bersenbruck, Germany; Oslo, Norway; Uppsala, Sweden; Schlossplatz, Germany; Amsterdam, Holland; Cantazaro and Lecce, Italy.

“The shows were all well attended and everyone was very satisfied with our solo performances. A few fans even commented that they were shocked, as they did not know I could sing so good. To be honest, to hear fans sing along to songs from my debut album was refreshing and is an endorsement of the hard work that I have put in over the last 12 months” the reggae crooner said in an interview.



Since kicking off their 35th Anniversary tour in January, the Reggae Ambassadors show no signs of slowing down.  With performances that have included Jamaica Jazz and Blues, St. Kitts Music Festival, Reggaeland Festival, NOWA Reggae Festival, Dour Festival, Might Sounds Festival, Hanu Reggae Festival and Monterey Bay Reggae Festival, to name a few, Third World continues to take their music globally.

Last weekend, the group performed at various venues on the West Coast and in Canada.  This weekend, the band will perform at the 19th Annual Midwest Reggae Festival in Cleveland Ohio on Friday, August 13, 2010.  They will share the stage with acts such as Michael Rose, Luciano, The Skatalites, Fyah Wyah and more.  One Saturday, August 14, 2010, Third World will perform at the Keswick Theatre in Glenside, PA.  Victor Lewis, manager for Third World Band, addresses rumors regarding the show at Keswick Theatre not going forward "The show at Keswick Theatre is definitely still on - it has not been canceled. 




Canada’s top rated songstress, Ammoye, will be featured on Ottawa’s number one television station, /A\ Channel on Monday August 16th with a performance in support of the 3rd Annual Ottawa Reggae Festival taking place August 20-22 in Ottawa, Canada.

Ammoye, who is managed by Kaya Entertainment Group, has been working and recording consistently over the past year with top producers such as Suga Roy and the Fireball Records label (Alton Rock Riddim - 2009), Kirk Bennett from Kirkledove Records (Strive Riddim - 2010), and Rise Ashen (Ammoye Meets Rise Ashen – Haffi Mek It - 2010), becoming one of the most visible female Reggae entertainers in Canada.
