The small island nation of Saint Lucia created a big impact at one of the largest celebrations of Caribbean culture in Europe last month.

The small eastern Caribbean island had a strong cultural presence during the two-day Notting Hill Carnival festival which drew millions on Sunday, August 29 and Monday, August 30 to one of London's most popular tourist attractions, according to the Saint Lucia Tourist Board (SLTB).

On Saturday, September 11th at 8::00 p.m. the Miami Bach Society will present the Miami Guitar Trio for the first performance of its 2010 – 2011 Concert Season. This newly-formed ensemble is comprised of three University of Miami graduates: Federico Bonacossa, Federico Musgrove, and Alan Nguyen. They debuted at the University’s Gusman Hall last spring, where they were commissioned to play original works by students at the Frost School of Music. Since then, they have been giving concerts throughout South Florida, generating great interest with their versatile and electrifying performances.
Grammy-winning dancehall pioneer, Lady Saw is back naughty, nasty and explicitly electrifying with her new album My Way set for release on September 7th, 2010. The record, her first with Toasting Music/Diva Records, distributed by Fontana/Universal, follows the 2007 release Walk Out, her final album on the reggae label VP Records. Saw's latest collection, featuring collaborations with multi-platinum rapper Eve and Ding Dong as well as production by Lady Saw along with Tony 'CD' Kelly, Lloyd 'John John' James, Danny Browne and Stephen McGregor, opens a new chapter for Saw and Divas Records productions.
