ImageGrammy Award Winning artists Nas and Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley, Digiwaxx Artist Supa Nova Slom, radio personalities Steph Lova from Power 105 radio and Dahved Levi from WBLS, were all on deck Thursday April 1st, 2010, to present a sneak preview of Jr. Gong and Nas' highly anticipated, collaborative album "Distant Relatives." Distant Relatives is due to be released on Universal Music in May of 2010. The private, intimate (crowded, hot and sweaty) gathering at Digiwaxx headquarters in Harlem, was packed with press, DJs, trendsters and bloggers.

Latin Jazz harpist, Roberto Perera
Returning to Miami Dade College (MDC) for another magical concert is renowned Latin Jazz harpist, Roberto Perera, who will play Under the Oaks at the Kendall Campus on Friday, April 16, 2010, at 8 p.m.

Joining the musician will be hand drummer Robert Thomas Jr., guitarist Juan Areco and multi-instrumentalist Jorge Alfano. The repertoire that evening will include original as well as other Latin music hits. In collaboration with WDNA and Don Davis Parrillada Restaurant, the concert will be held Under the Oaks in front of the recently renovated Kendall Koffee House, a great venue for live music.

The Saint Lucia Tourist Board has announced that world renowned, Grammy-winning recording artistes Ne-Yo, Corinne Bailey Rae, Shaggy and Steel Pulse are set perform at the destination’s premiere festival from May 1 – 9, 2010.

Steele has been nominated in the categories of “Best Reggae Album/CD of the Year” for his latest release “The Man the Music”, “Artist of the Year”, “Male Vocalist of the Year”, and “Best Reggae Single of the Year”, for “Love Yourself First”, his duet with Mandy Woods.
