CaribPR Wire, NEW YORK, NY, May 30, 2017: The Caribbean Tales International Film Festival and their partners today announced their 2017 Short Film Challenges (SFC) The SFCs throw a spotlight on important themes, new voices, and urgent current social issues, providing a platform and visibility to emerging filmmakers.
The World Reggae Dance Championship, Jamaica’s premier International Dancehall and Reggae dance competition is still accepting entries as it moves into the elimination round. A highlight of the Jamaica 55 Celebrations, the annual competition seeks to bring the best and most versatile Dancehall and Reggae based dance groups from across the world on one stage. Organised by the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) an Agency of the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, the Championship is open to groups comprising 3 to 6 persons, 18 years of age and older and residing in and outside of Jamaica.
