The 90-year-old former head of state’s body was cremated on Saturday but thousands are expected to pay tribute to Castro on Sunday December 4th at the Santa Ifigenia cemetery in Santiago de Cuba, the island’s second largest city and site of the beginning of the Cuban Revolution in 1953.
