New concessions that have opened since November are: Au Bon Pain; Bijoux Terner; Boca Bons; Shop Britto; Coco Bay; Coffee Beanery; Corona Beach House; Inmotion Entertainment; Johnston & Murphy; Pizza Hut; Starbucks; StarFire Designs jewelry; two Sunglass Hut locations; and Sushi Maki. North Terminal, which serves American Airlines passengers, currently has more than 40 dining, retail and duty free concession locations. For the locations of all North Terminal stores and restaurants, go to http://www.miami-airport.com/shopping_map.asp.

Peter Webley
Peter, Webley, publisher of the South Florida monthly newspaper, Caribbean Today, will be inducted into the Miami Dade College (MDC) Alumni Hall of Fame in the field of journalism.

Described as one of the pioneers in Caribbean media in South Florida, Mr. Webley founded the Caribbean Today newspaper in 1989, now in its 21st year.

ImageJamaican musher Newton Marshall continues to build on the island’s tradition of excellence in winter adventure sports becoming the first Jamaican to complete the grueling 1,000 mile Iditarod dogsled race from Anchorage to Nome. After nearly two weeks on the trail, the 27 year old Marshall and his team crossed the finish line in Nome, Alaska on March 19, finishing 47th out of 71 starters competing in the 2010 Iditarod.
