Haitian Heritage Museum honors the late Daniel Fils-Aime

The Haitian Heritage Museum was saddened to learn about the passing of Mr. Daniel Fils Aime, the Founder of the Haitian American Historical Society. We honored Mr. Fils Aime back in 2006 with the Haitian Heritage Museum Haitian Pillar Award he was truly a beacon of light for the Haitian American Community both locally, and internationally.

We will miss him and will continue to celebrate his legacy. The City of Savannah wrote a very beautiful article about Mr. Fils Aime's historic accomplishments.
