Larry Hartshorn, corporate vice president and director, international research and member engagement, LIMRA and LOMA, will deliver the opening remarks at the conference as well as a presentation on the age dichotomy.
“Baby Boomers and Millennials have very diverse perspectives and priorities, which complicate insurers’ efforts to develop effective business strategies, but those challenges also present opportunities to build innovative new products and channels for distribution,” says Hartshorn. “It’s necessary for global companies to understand the differences between these two cohorts and keep pace with the evolving technology to gain the attention of these two generations.”
This year’s conference will include speakers, Randa Zalman, president and chief executive officer, Insurance Marketing Institute, whose session will cover popular social media trends in the insurance industry; and Dalibor Razmillic, chief executive officer, Brac Industries, who will discuss IoT, or the Internet of Things, and how it will “turn the market upside down.”
The conference, held on June 4-6, 2017, in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, will also feature guest speaker, Neal Petersen, an award-winning author, international speaker, and round-the-world solo racing yachtsman, who will share his experiences navigating the sea as an inspiration for industry executives to navigate, adapt, and persevere in an age of disruption.
