Padrón will receive Special Individual Recognition from the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce when the organization hosts its 4th annual International Business Leadership Awards on Thursday, Nov. 18 at Jungle Island in Miami. Dr. Padrón was selected to receive the honor due to his commitment to international initiatives in South Florida and “his constant pursuit of the promotion of Miami as a global city – all of which make him a phenomenal international leader,” said Chamber president and CEO Barry E. Johnson.

CSAV is now offering car carrier service from Port Everglades.
Chilean line Compañ ίa Sud Americana de Vapores (CSAV) has started its first vehicle carrier service at Broward County's Port Everglades. CSAV's new Pure Car Carrier (PCC)/Pure Truck Carrier service sails every other week from Port Everglades using Florida International Terminal, LLC, (FIT) for cargo handling.

Set up a year ago to stimulate economic growth, one successful enterprise after another, the entrepreneurship development organization, better known as Bimventures, has been allocated space at the high end Limegrove Lifestyle Centre in Holetown in the St. James parish. Limegrove is a mixed use lifestyle centre which opens at year-end.
